Hanging on hooks rusted with blood divine

Decaying cadavers sublime

Reflections in unseeing eyes

An ocean of bodies consumes the horizon

The tide swells with each passing second

A shrine to a being beyond all comprehension

In this kingdom, death is the only reprieve

Mouths frozen and glutted with scorn

Never to be reborn

Forgotten prayers of the dead

Viscera creeps past my chest, horrific miasma

Amniotic burial shroud

Centuries of memories flood my neocortex

Embalm, enshrine, entomb

I become death, divinity grotesque
