Southern Accent

Where I come from we get all four seasons

Well I ain’t from the south but I still say please and

Thank you ma’am

We’ll do anything for our friends and family

And the ice still melts the same in our whiskey

Well I’m from up north, but if anybody’s asking

I’m leaving here, with a southern accent

When the winter’s cold we can put on the coffee

Or we can cool it down with some Tennessee sweet tea

Yeah we’re different, but we’re the same

We even share a couple last names

We’ll both be singing along tonight to the same honky tonk band
