One Extra Smile

Jack was a great swimmer there's no doubt

Stayed wet so long got dried out

Swam the channel at Stafford Lake

Asked how he did it with one extra smile a day

Money had a way of going down the drain

He fought the surf over English Bay

Some wondered what all the fuss was for

Here comes Jack with one more mile to the shore

Something over nothing's how it usually goes

Rain always comes wind always blows

Greatest backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly crawl

Parted the waves like the prophet Moses
