I swear I wake up every morning and I’m feignin’ for a buzz

I don’t care if it’s a Zyn I like the way it burns my gums

I step right into my slippers, give my feet two fuzzy hugs

I look up into the mirror, “what the hell have I become?”

Stumbled out the door, still feeling sick from nights before

It might sound a little twisted, but I want a little more

Anything to stop my thinking, anything to calm my nerves

Some may say I got a problem, so I kick ‘em to the curb

 

Whiskey in my bottle, couple dollars in my pocket, I still party like it’s New Year’s Eve

I swear I wake every morning, hit the store up on the corner, cause a little buzz is all I need

I had a couple on the rocks and now they’re tryin’a call the cops

But all I said is “I don’t wanna leave”

So I pop an upperdecky and I smoke a little debbie cause a little buzz is all I need

 

I ask ‘em, “what chu got?” I’ll take it all and throw in a Snickers

I can’t wait too long, give me a second, I’ll paint the picture

I’m in the parking lot, only went to get me some liquor

The man, he asked me if I tried the new things them kids hittin’

He pointed at the wall, on the shelf, next to the Swishers

It don’t cost too much, never knew what I’ve been missing

So I tried it out, head rush, blurrin’ my vision

He said, “you’ll fall in love”, I responded, “fuck, that’s delicious!”
