My Own Disguise

Just like the rest of the crowd,

I spent most everyday with my, with my head in the clouds

Okay, maybe not you

But, almost everyone I knew, needed something to go through

I didn’t see my own disguise

I didn’t know where to begin

No second guess was aloud

So certain was I, no doubt in my mind,

The road was paved for me

But just how wrong can a good man be?

The full picture is sometimes easier to see,

When you’re knocked down on your knees

I can finally open up my eyes,

And swallow my own sins

Took my time cause i had no choice

Down, but not out - still had my voice

And I begin to be the one I am
