There are many times I have just started out a-playing

Without really thinking ‘bout the fact that you are there

Hearing every note I play and every word I’m saying

Does it mean a thing to you or do you even care?

                                                            

Please let me know your thoughts about what I am saying

Please, will you tell me, cause I really want to know

What’s your reaction to my singing and playing?

Does it really matter, does it mean something to you?

 

Do you think the songs are really much too introspective

Do they leave a question mark, or not a mark at all?

Do you find the words, the beat, melodies effective?
