Lifeguard Life

I'm on the beach I got a drink in my hand I am the lifeguard And I got a great tan I sit up high In my lifeguard chair I shake my cocktail shaker In the sunny, sunny air Everybody tells me Lifeguards can't drink on the beach Well, it's a big part of my lifestyle Might have to fire me You got to wave your hands If you want to be seen You've got to wave your hands If you're drowning on my beach Lifeguard life, it's a lifeguard life My little lazy life is a lifeguard life What's that in the water? Someone's in trouble But I just ate about two cheeseburgers Did I mention they were doubles? All the parents are yelling at me "You fool! My kid could have drowned!" Yeah, but he didn't everybody's okay So why don't I pour another round?
