Getting off my feet I'm getting on the ground Preparing the way To stomp around town Step around the gate You know life awaits Though it swings around It's in a solid state Ignore the cracks That's under the heel It's just the roots With a bloody squeal The pavement fades With a bit of sun It's not trying to Hurt anyone Through the cracks it Slips away Another push Another day Constant thumping Beats to live All the dancing Nothing to forgive Just gotta live Piercing my way through The hive mind That little space Could be mine The shutter's down There is a little hitch Undulate the bod With a little switch Keep on lifting What I weigh The staircase Is no stairway The pressure's on You know my knee is weak Fly sideways with A little squeak See the smiles Fade away Back of photos There to stay Stoop and Banjo Sing and play Outdoor seating What a day Just sing and play There to stay Everyday
