Misery

Drowning, in words I never said.

Constricting my body please bring me back to bed.

Healing or so it seemed, your silhouette still haunting my every dream.

Choking on memories, I need to breathe I swear I just can’t leave.

Found peace in misery the only thing that helps me back to sleep.

I know I’m selfish but I can’t help this stuck in a cycle repeating.

Suffocate my spirit and nostalgia tendencies,

Place your hands around my throat as I beg you to squeeze

Cut off the oxygen that runs to my brain anything to rid me of the pain

Drown me in misery, I swear there’s nothing left of me, I’m drowning in misery so that I can get to sleep
