Lemonade

My momma taught me when I was young You gotta give when you've got something And other people, they've got none My momma showed me when I was young You gotta stand up when others aren't strong enough And all those people, they could use some love But then she needed support herself Then she needed someone else I was small, but I knew how I could help I stood up I made lemonade Out of the lemons that laid In front of me I helped my family Oh, I stood up I made lemonade To help the others who needed Care like my mother did I made lemonade And I stood up Even though I was just a kid So now my momma is feeling better But I'm still out there being a helper 'Cause there's so much need out here Oh I show up cause someone has to Yeah I bring help to all those who Need a hand We all could use a hand I've made blankets, packed lunches Baked cookies, passed out kits I've helped seniors, and I've tutored I'll be your good steward!
