Black breath Rising up from the darkness below A foul stench As it swallows you whole Seeing is believing It can't be god's creation We must fight or flee For our own salvation Black breath Overwhelms the senses Colossal chaos created A deathly shriek Titan like tentacles Coming out of the unknown Pulling vessels down Unto their ocean grave We've all heard the tales But believed it to be fabled Now here we stand Eye to eye with the beast Submerged within its wake With a conquest to conquer We're lambs brought to the slaughter Accept our fate as we know its too late A power, untethered Bones will bend and break Abandon ship Let the water fill your lungs or be devoured "Man the cannons! Prepare for Armageddon!" Whirlpools like wizardry A vacuum envelopes the sea Dragging the folk beneath Churning its razor teeth We must take a stand Against the barbaric beast We can not fight forever No mercy No soul A creature you cannot control Sent from a liquid abyss Feel the wrath of its death grip Only death shall draw near Filled with monumental fear "In mari multa latent" With this bloodshed Proves a hopeless war Once the victor has fed It will lay dormant again Slink back into obscurity Ready to lay carnage at sea Eternal sleep Sink to the deep Cadavers asunder Pulling me down Vessels popping under the pressure No way out, it's clear with every Squeeze
