I walk along the road
Let fear subside
Call all your friends
No one gives you a ride
I tread along the night time
Through these blades of grass
Watching all the headlights
See the cars drive past
But one appears to slow down
Turning in it's path
A man appears and shows me
A grizzled, callous hand
He says
Don't be afraid
Through a crooked smile
Come with me my dear
Stay for a while
I can only fathom
Where these wheels will go
But daring dark and handsome
How could I say no?
And so I hand it over
My innocence at last
With just a three leaf clover
For now my luck has passed
