Well I remember the first time I heard “Fire and Rain”

Daddy’s old two tone headed down some old broke two lane

He really didn’t talk too much every now and then he’d sing

For a couple miles he wasn’t worried about anything

We were just driving

At 8 years old, it was everything

That 16th summer we were going nowhere way too fast

Some of us stayed some of us found a way of getting out
