Downtown feels like a mountain range these days

Skylines expanding like the wrinkles on your face

A hesitant response to inevitable words

One day grass will overtake these streets and time will overtake the world

Inching closer to your shoulder on the bus

I hear you whisper something to yourself and shake your head

"This feeling's so familiar"

Flowers growing out of limestone graves, the cracks in conversation

Hard to speak when both our heads are filled with constant information

Central texas summer stars fade away against your glow

Some lines intersect at the same points
