SILVER GHOST
The storm is threatening
The ocean roars with untamed rage and breaks (like glass)
Savagely upon the rocks below
And there she stands, immovable
Strong against the storm
Mighty in the face of what’s to come
From the darkness emerges a vision of fear
A figure of cursed nightmare
A spectre has risen from the depths of the sea
In every soul there dwells a force
The spirit of the fight
And even though her mind knows fear
She will not die tonight
She calls upon it now
As she stares beyond the coast
And the spirit is too strong
To fear the Silver Ghost
She pushes off, away from solid ground
The boat is miniscule, just a toy
Insignificant against the sea
But her duty stands within her mind
And right behind comes pride
A pillar in the face of what’s to come
From the darkness emerges a vision of fear
A figure of cursed nightmare
A spectre has risen from the depths of the sea
In every soul there dwells a force
The spirit of the fight
And even though her mind knows fear
She will not die tonight
She calls upon it now
As she stares beyond the coast
And the spirit is too strong
To fear the Silver Ghost
She recalls the tales of five who lost their lives
Two and three, could it be
They have come to wreak revenge
She could turn the boat around and leave this place
Let it burn, not return
Never feel the fear again
[But bravery is not the absence of fear
It is perseverance in spite of it]
