Intro - The Shift

My name is Kevin Downswell and welcome to The Shift.

In the book of Jeremiah 29 verse 12 the Bible says “Then you shall call upon me and you should go and pray to me, and I will harken unto you. You shall seek me, and you shall find me, when you have searched for me with all your heart.

This recording was done spontaneously. One evening, I said to my keyboardist and my drummer, let’s go to a spot called Allmighty Studios and let’s go worship. There were no rehearsals, we had no plan, but all I knew was that that, that weekend my voice was gone. I was struggling to talk in the very studio session that I was about to sing and Worship In. But somehow I knew that this was the perfect recipe for God to show up. When I say my voice was gone, It was gone. But we sat, we prayed and said God show up and what you’re about to hear is what the Lord God Almighty Yahweh, El Gibor, the sovereign King released upon us.

I pray that this blesses you. I pray that this finds its way into cars, homes, families, into every space of society, and I pray that it will carry with it the presence of the most high God.
