I can see you in the middle of

A wide open little hill, country-filled, tangled up

Tied outside of Austin

In bluebonnets

On a truck bed blanket

With a mockingbird singing along

To a radio song 'neath the sky of cotton

And bluebonnets

I closed my eyes and there you are

Red bandana tied up in your hair
