Breathless, silent April night sea

I'm watching freighters flow by

In the darkness, their lights get blurred

From the tears in my eyes

The world goes ticktock

Businesses bloom

Life goes on and on

But alone on this islet

For you, I'm dead and gone

How I wish we had stopped to peek down the alleyways

If around those corners there was another way
