As I Go

Here I am, just getting started But I fear I'm too faint-hearted For the task And when I reach for it at last It only slips away But the disarray It leaves me in Is worth the other things I feel within I'm making this all Up as I go Hope I don't fall There's so much that I don't know There's so much to learn So much to do Oh how I yearn To just understand this new World I live in Oh, it seems so unforgiving Will someone lend a hand Cause I don't understand This at all It isn't that I don't like writing That's the part I find exciting But when it comes to the technical things I feel the world come and clip my wings My mind is a sieve that I'm filling with sand But the books don't burn, instead, they stand In my way That's how it feels, anyway I'm making this all Up as I go Hope I don't fall There's so much that I don't know There's so much to learn So much to do Oh how I yearn To just understand this new World I live in Oh, it seems so unforgiving Will someone lend a hand Cause I don't understand No, I don't understand this at all
