Helsinki in the afternoon

Recalling all the times that you have moved 

Warsaw to England and back again 

You seemed happiest when you were leavin'

We both had a broken heart or two 

So we shed a little light in the afternoon 

Your stories they all rang true 

It seemed much the same for me and you 

You told me you've been missing home

Your mother's voice and your father's songs

Your cottage out there in the woods

It's farewell now to old Finland town
