With a perfect, upright heart

He served the Lord many years

Life was good

We could assume he hadn’t shed many tears

He had everything he needed

But in one day, he lost it all

As he sat there in the ashes, he thought

It came from You

So I know this is not in vain

Lord, this is proof

You still have full control

Looking back on all the trials and tears

I clearly see it, how

The hedge You've made

Just look what I have now
