Gone

i’m sitting on the roof

watching the sunset for a little while

i’m feeling like a man who can’t be moved

i close my eyes

the world we used to know

now silent and cold

stories of our lives

they will be left untold

we’ve tried so many times

but we have failed now

there are things that we cannot affect

i know it is too late to say we’re sorry
