When I Was a Boy

When I was a boy I used to dream that I can reach space and touch the stars.

I used to think there will always be joy in the world that will make me smile.

When I was a boy I used to dream that everyone will live in peace someday.

I used to think that I can change the world and cure all the wounded souls.

Now everything has changed I've grown up so fast to be so wild.

I don't know why and how I forgot that I was once the child.

I used to think there will always be love in the world and I'll never cry.

When I was a boy I used to play the hero who was saving everyone,

using my guns and never truly understanding that they harm anyone.
