I've had my ups and I've lived through my downs

I've been so high, then I fell from that cloud

I fought depression so hard I could die

But I only knew darkness 'cause I'd first seen light

I broke some hearts and they broke mine as well

I've dealt with loss and I've suffered that hell

I punched the devil, he put me in jail

But the real bars I found were my own mental cells

If I could go back

To fix up my past
