Supernova

Pioneer Double gives him the antimatter incubator. He leaves the shuttle with his jetpack and heads toward the star with another incubator he had kept. Pioneer Double watches the end of the eclipse before noticing that the sun is taking its last breath prior to exploding. The star's core collapses, triggering a cataclysmic explosion that sends a blinding burst of energy and light cascading across the cosmos. Pioneer Double activates the antimatter pod and teleports back in time to the structure surrounding the alien species' neutron star. This reveals that he is, in fact, the one who saved the original Pioneer earlier. Amidst the chaos, Pioneer perceives a swirling vortex at the heart of the explosion—a black hole formed from the star's dying remains. It is a terrifying sight, a gaping maw in the fabric of reality that pulls everything toward its center. The gravitational forces are overwhelming, tearing at the very fabric of space. Time bends, warps, and twists in a violent dance, as if the universe itself were collapsing in on itself. Pioneer feels the pull of the black hole’s event horizon, a force that seems to promise oblivion. Yet in this whirlwind of destruction, a sudden realization hits him: he must activate the antimatter capsule.
