Interlude I: Catalyst.

Yeah, that's really interesting and you've talked about like a lot already

(Yeah) So, but like so far, what do you think, you know, these events

And these, you know, experiences represent for you, like, what, what do they like mean to you

I guess I can kind of consider it to be like a catalyst sort of, you know...

A man belongs to his fatherland, and not to his motherland

And yet we say "Nneka" ("mother is supreme"), why is that?

When a father beats his child, it seeks sympathy in its mother's hut

A man belongs to his fatherland when things are good, and life is sweet

But when there is sorrow and bitterness, he finds refuge in his mother

Your mother is there to protect you, she is buried there

And that is why we say, "mother is supreme"
