I wanna jump out of bed and reach the stars, And line the universe with the sweetest bars, Experience places that seem so far, And realise no matter where you've been or are, We're all just people trying to seize our part... In life - living for what feeds our hearts, Graffiti painters everywhere are breathing art, Others live for the fast-life - competing cars, Or try and make a living when the streets are dark, Some live for their children - to see their spark, Others recognise love when they've been apart, Sometimes dreaming's hard - you feel closed in, Like striving's a waste - you know you won't win, Cold and frozen - and your flow's gone Need someone to confide in but there's no-one, I've been there but i recognise that hope's strong, I want to feel so much bigger than this I want to feel like each minute living is bliss Life is a journey with a million twists, The confusion, the hurt and the brilliant bits, I want to sink into this world i've created, And not think how the world was created, Some are struggling for one payslip, We spend millions on building a spaceship, Let's face it - we're all confused now, Build our own paradise - play our tunes loud, Write lines - have to try just to move crowds, Philosophise - figuring the truth out, We move round - try to improve our vision, Imprint our soul in the tunes that we've written, Prove we want more than consumer addiction, I need meaning else my future is fiction.
