Damage Is Done

It was a night to remember

Women, whiskey bottles and cocaine

Last night of December

we were reckless always on the fast lane

There was a place by the river

people drank and wanted to have fun

There was a friend , called Big Melon

Bad temper and a loaded gun.

If someone tried to get in his way

it was better for them to begin to pray

Melon was one kind of few words

You just had to cut and run

He used his head as battering ram

But the damage is done.

Everything was going well

When a man made a grave mistake

He was looking at the wrong girl

But for him by then it was too late

Melon was drinking poison

With a step he was already close to him

He looked the man in the eyes and then

A Head butt before to say goodbye.

It was the beginning of an hellish night

Made of broken heads, guns and bloody knives

All around overbearing bouncers

Melon would never gave up

till we heard the sound of police car

but the damage is done …man

we’re in trouble guys

Another time in the county jail

Such was the hard price we had to pay

We Just wanted another bourbon
