There's this girl down the block who is really hot,

you should see her smile, you should see her trot

And when she walks by all the guys stop and holler

Cause the way she looks, it's like an angel

Now I don't wanna intervene in her situation

But there's something I gotta say, without any hesitation

She's got a man who she loves to death, his name don't matter

Yeah he's the devils breath

Telling her all the things she wants to hear

Like my love, my sweet, my honey, and marry me my dear

Sometimes you see them sneakin out of her parents house

And I'm wondering and worrying what are they doin now

She thinks he's her knight in shining armor

Yeah, she's all tucked up next to him doing everything but sleep

I'm just laying in my bed, counting sheep

Sometimes you see them out at the bars

Acting smooth, high and mighty like movie stars

But I know what is really going on

If her folks found out, that guy would be gone

Which would give me a chance to slide in and take my shot
