I stumbled into an old barroom just trying to escape the rain

I found myself with some outlaws, trying to drown their pain

Way back in the corner alone was a man dressed in black

He called me over, raising his empty glass

I bought a bottle of Old Overholt and sat with the ghostly man

Listening close to the stories he told as the whisky seemed to live in his hand

He said "Son I once had me an angel with a spirit that would please the lord. But the Devil turned water into whisky and with it he bought my soul."
