Remember

When I die

Will I leave a peaceful world behind?

Or will it all have gone to shit with mankind

Like the truths that some say

I accept but don't pay

Much mind to in the present day

Will I find it hard to go in peace?

If constant hardship makes up reality

With no chapels or priests

And the thing that I leave

Is escaped with nothing bittersweet

They really got me thinking

Whether I go out with a fight

Or a so-called coward's ending

To saying goodbye

To this place with a smile

Fondly think back to younger years free of care

Talks that bring us close and make us feel alive

Eyes seeing eyes through to the person behind

Nights lit up with laugher until met with sunrise

And love that's only felt - that no words can describe
