As I come by behind you

Like a lost dog from the day before

I believed I wasn’t leaving

Here I’ve surfaced through the

Backlight of my recollection in this other world veiled

It’s fast illusion of being known to

What has never been my name

Or ever held these hands

Or even fully seen

Where I’ve been

But it’s still the same

A vision for the few

From a flight of dreams

Where I glimpse

The moment of the daybreaks

Where our hopes all at once go away

Into shadows leaving only

In this place familiar once familiar landscaped

It’s an open road in front of me

Merging on the way to their own

Far out of reach

The lucent days

From which now

I know I’m made
