Thin Ice

There's pins inside my hands.

Can't even make a fist

From what I understand

There's so much more to this.

Wouldn't it be nice to get off of thin Ice?

And I know I'm better than this

It's really been too long

To feel I'm not missed

To feel slightly wrong

Days go floating by

Let out one more sigh

I feel a part of myself can't runaway

When everyday feels the same

Let's put these thoughts on the shelf for a later date

And rearrange who to blame

Wouldn't it be nice to get off of thin ice

Without a sacrifice
