I was a hound in the city

Thought I couldn’t see you there

But I found you in the city

So I hang on every end of every crown of hair

But I was crowned in my village

Knew I couldn’t keep you there

But I took you to my village

And you waited at the station like an ember in a chair

In the parish

Down to the Old Town

I knew I wouldn’t need you there

Til I did and I split like I’ve known no bounds

I was a hound in the city

I know I couldn’t see you there

But I found you in the city

So i walked to my village from Trafalgar Square
