A rented tuxedo smothered in smoke

Was it the bride or the fire that made me feel choked

Who would’ve that it’d be in the fall

For your biggest day has come after all

A day to rejoice and celebrate love

Upon my arrival, I spoke to your mom

We talked about the past, and the journey you’re on

As you walked down the aisle, atop the roses and dust
