Another Day Down

Another day down, here again Wishing I was out on the road again Another day spent in this paradise jail Trying to make pennies just to pay my bail Going stir crazy in these 4 square walls I stare at the phone but nobody calls I know I could lave by the door on the right But I think Im gonna spend another night Alright Another day down, same as the last Invisible barriers blocking my path Clear blue skies and a south east wind Think I'd like to be on the move again Theres a woman looking at me like I've done it again I'm not sure what it is but I tell you my friend She thinks I've got a problem and maybe she's right But I think I'm gonna spend another night I think I'll spend another Another day down, treadmill life Walk 100 miles in a circle tonight Look on back to the place I came I try to make a difference but It's all the same I've got some irons in the fire but they're burning away Hanging out in purgatory watching it every day Conflict in my head but I don't wanna fight So I think Im gonna spend another night If I ever get outa here Im never turning back Walk 100 miles on a one way track I've gotta move real soon but it doesn't look right So I think I'm gonna spend another night One of these days and it won't be long All of my youth will be dead and gone I'll be a grey haired man at the end of his life And so I'm thinking, Id better make a move tonight I'd better make a move
