Wanna drive a train

Fly to the moon

And fly back again

Whatever the reason is

I always call a halt (halt!)

Whatever happens I just get set back to default

Too many pipe dreams

Gone up in smoke

Too many wild forays

Have just become a joke

But no one’s laughing here

There’s only one result (mmm)

I pull in the slack

2 steps forward

Then 2 steps back

Looking for loving

Looking for fun

Just when I think I’m getting somewhere

I go right back

To square one

When I was a baby - On my mother’s knee

The world was my oyster- And life my cup of tea

But nothing tastes so good any more

I need some pepper and salt (spice it up)

Whatever happens I just get set back to default

I can’t give as much as I get

And I can’t find my way yet

I don’t need lots of money

I don’t need pay
