The storm is here

Waves kissing and biting my feet

I’m standing still

Waiting for ocean to take me in

Its waters flow

through time and space

It doesn’t care

For your sorrow and happiness

This dream will soon be gone

Reality will sweep me back

Into the ocean

I take a deep breath

Memories salty on my skin

Tears I’ve never shed

They‘re all hiding here

I take the first step

And for a moment I feel alive

At least I won’t be left

In my solitude tonight

While I’m drowning

The ocean’s breathing

My heart’s still beating

Someone’s leaving
