For those in the area near Moccasin Flats this morning, it was a hectic scene

As police vehicles flooded into the area at approximately 8.30 a.m. due to a shooting incident

After receiving a report of a gunshot near the 500 block of Ottawa Street

RCMP say that a man was located suffering from a serious gunshot wound in the area of Moccasin Flats

The Serious Crimes Unit has taken charge of the investigation and police are asking the public to stay out of the area at this time
