Reflecting on what could have been

Wish i had reached out way back then

I'm sorry that I didn't know

Hearing the news was a wake up call

Ignorant to the fact this won't last

Taken for granted lives that we have

Let us remember how fast things pass

Live in the moment Cause it might be the last

Never really cherished their lives

I'm not sentimental

But I really wish I spared them time

Death comes quickly

It's the cycle of life

Should have documented our past

Gone too soon but your spirit remains

Prince or a pauper it all ends the same

You'll never get back those days

How will I carry on this time
