Ahead of a journey one might feel compelled to look back and reminisce about what once was Nostalgia might come rushing over you and remind you of the tragic state you were in

I remember how you described the feeling of despair to me - Like I was an infant

It’s not like I’m an emotional cripple

It’s not like I’m waiting for someone to fix me

These days of isolation are really reminding me about how many things I need to fix around here I’ve spent days contemplating how to attain some kind of godlike success

But it’s pastime

Yea it’s just pastime

Last night I saw a man and he was dressed just like me

He slowly passed by my window with a condescending smile on his face

He was dressed just like me - I can’t shake it off

And he slowly passed by my window with that familiar smile on his face

On and on and on

I can’t shake it off...........
