How I'm Feeling

Lately ive been feeling life is so hard

Im working all day money isn’t going far

What even is success

 

When I was older thought id find the way to make it

But now I realise all my friends just fake it

Pursuing happiness

 

When I was young I just wanted to grow up

Now im older I cant seem to make time stop

All my friends are buying house, getting married, finding meaning

While im homesick, overthinking my life choices

Can someone tell me how Im feeling

I spend my days, driving down on open roads

I don’t know love, so I spend nights on my phone

Guess it’s meant to be

 

Somedays ill pretend im happier than I am

Cant afford rent, so I have to live in my van

It not all that it seems

My therapist said to be kind, when talking to myself

I’ll be ok, day at a time, we all need some help

But I don't know, which way to go, and that terrifies me

I wish I, could free my mind, to be all I could be
