I don't sit and watch the sunrise anymore

The wonders of this life don't stir my heart quite like before

I remember how it felt to feel alive

At the end of a quiet backroad that just winds and winds and winds

I spent so long stumbling, wandering through

This twisting, tangled maze

Every time I reach a destination

It seems I've lost more than I've gained
