I can't seem to sleep this morning Because the outdoor sun is calling Shafts of lights that pierce the blinds Cutting the dust into golden lines My sunglasses on before we open the door Summer's here today, It ain't spring no more With the gentle buzzing Of the flies and the bees And ripe fruits hanging From my mango trees We build a sand castle On a scorching beach Pass the sunblock baby, It's outta my reach Looking fine in just Shorts and a vest You watch the sweat Trickle down between my b______ As I go for a swim, I know you're checking my a__ To the sound of the ice cubes That crack in your glass We sit under a tree In the shadows till noon Sipping from a glass Till the afternoon The pollen is blowin' on the wind To the gentle flutter of a b___erflies wings And the siesta time is crucial for me baby That's when I get to be your special lady Then we ride on my Vespa into the warm breeze And watch the sunset glow with my main squeeze With the smell of the summer And the jasmine in bloom And when the sun has gone down We go back to my room
