So now, the rooms was finally clean

What started as dusty, neglected space had become a blank canvas

And now that I had the keys, my imagination went to work

Most people would've seen five empty rooms

I saw five opportunities, five businesses, five streams of income

Five chances to build something bigger than myself

Of course the studio came first

Music had carried me this far

Every major move in my life seemed to

Start with a microphone and a dream

So one room became the recording studio

Then came the clothing

Simply the Best had already started building a name

The shirts, the merchandise, the brand

So another room became the clothing store

But I wasn't done, not even close

I started looking at the remaining rooms and asking myself

"What else can I fit in here?"

A barbershop, maybe

A beauty room, possibly

A tattoo artist, that could work too

And because I always loved creating an atmosphere

I even created a small cigar lounge

Nothing fancy, just a place where people

Could relax, network, and talk business

For the first time in my life, I wasn't renting a studio

I wasn't renting a booth

I was sharing, I wasn't sharing somebody else's dream

This place belonged to me

Every room, every wall, every opportunity

And that's when the ideas really started flowing

One day, my big homie, the one who helped me with the swap meet

He brought up an idea: cars

We had a large parking lot outside, unused space

Unused space means missed opportunity

He suggested we start going to the auctions and buying cars

Fixing them up and then selling them

Creating another source of income

That idea made sense

So now we had music, clothing, business space, and vehicles

And little by little, the property

Started looking less like a rental unit

And more like a business center

Then something happened that made the vision feel even more real

One day I was scrolling through Facebook, just killing time

And I saw a familiar face

My homeboy Snail from high school

It turns out he moved to Vegas also

And he was a barber

Not just cutting hair casually, but he was a real mobile barber

Building his own business

Immediately I reached out

"Pull up, homie, let me show you something"

When he arrived, I walked him through the building

Showed him the rooms, explained the vision

Told him what I was trying to build

Then I opened the door to one of the empty spaces

"This could be yours"

He looked around, started imagining it

Starting to see what I saw

Opportunity, freedom, ownership

And before long, he was in there

He moved into the room

He started building a barbershop from the ground up

Just one chair though, couple of mirrors

He had a few clients

And that's when it hit me

That wasn't just my dream anymore

Other people were building their dreams in here too

The studio was creating artists

The barbershop was creating entrepreneurs

The clothing line was creating a brand

The parking lot was creating car sales

Everything was starting to connect

For years I had been building businesses one at a time

Now I was building a community

A place where people could create

A place where people could hustle

A place where people could grow

And standing in the middle of those five rooms

I realized something

The vision that I started with a boombox in Richmond

Was finally becoming real

Not perfect, not finished, but real

And for the first time, I wasn't chasing just success

I was creating
