Belgian DJ and producer Netsky is a leader of the liquid drum ānā bass style. Heās renowned for his ability to produce both hard-hitting club tracks and radio-friendly pop singles.
ā¢ Born Boris Daenen, Netsky took up the drums when he was five and started experimenting with beat-making software when he was 13. He got the name Netsky from a Windows computer virus.
ā¢ The young producer dropped his self-titled debut album in 2009. The funky, fast-paced LP made numerous Belgian charts and cracked the Top 10 of the UK dance charts.
ā¢ His 2012 sophomore album, 2, topped the charts in Belgium and went Top 30 on the UK pop charts.
ā¢ Featuring guests like Chromeo, Emeli Sande, and Digital Farm Animals, Netskyās 2016 third album, III, made the Top 10 of Billboardās Top Dance/Electronic Albums.
ā¢ By 2017, Netsky had moved on from the DānāB formula and begun releasing dance-pop and house-inspired songs in collaboration with Lost Frequencies, David Guetta, and others.
ā¢ āI Donāt Even Know You Anymore,ā Netskyās 2019 single featuring Bazzi and Lil Wayne, peaked inside the Top 30 of Billboardās Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
ā¢ Netsky returned to his roots with his upbeat and melodic DānāB-based fourth album, 2020ās Second Nature
ā¢ Heās also a prolific remixer whoās reworked tracks for Miike Snow, Underworld, Pendulum, Rusko, Skream, Madeon, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa, among others.
