How He Loves Me

The way that He loves me

is marvelous to me.

Whenever I’m lonely, tired or sad

He comforts me.

When I feel discouraged,

The burden’s too great

He comes to me so faithfully,

He sets me free.

He speaks of the lilies

and birds in the sky.

He tells me He loves me

And he sees each tear I cry.

He just has to touch me

And then I know why.

So long ago up on the cross,

He chose to die.

He’s constant and faithful;

He’s so real to me.

He fills me with power, joy and love

He lives I me.

I know I can always

Give Him my trust.

Until the day that my God says,

I turn to dust.
