I’ve been looking for the truth but

It’s getting pretty hard to find

Between fact and opinion

There seems such a fine fine line

Like a needle in a haystack

How long is a piece of string?

How many angels can you fit

On the head of a pin?

Nobody told me that’s how it was

Why do we settle for what we’ve got?

There’s two sides to this story

I’ll make up my own mind

Don’t make it up for me

Now I may be wrong

But something bout this don’t seem right

Another spineless politician

With a prehistoric intellect

Doing anything it takes

To stay friends with the gutter press

From Brussels to London

Canberra to Capitol Hill

They’re the one’s screwing up

But we’re the ones who have to pick up the bill

Nobody asked me how I felt

Does nobody care this is all shot to hell?

Why must you toe the party line?
