And all that was bleak and cold

A lifeless symbol among the ruins

As ashes came falling from the sky

So came radiation from below

As thrones turned to dust on the lifeless planes

As ruins crumbled, voices silenced

A dead light to light a dead age

Contamination fueling the puppets

As plagues amongst tribes

Glorious day of wrath

That which you held highest

Brought you down to the fall

The air now suffocates

Our idols turned to dust

A hopeless monument

Standing amongst the ruins
