Came into town a cool drink of water

I’ve been kicking rocks around the yard

Pumping Mozart through a megaphone

Filling my pockets up with stones

Need a good frame of mind and the proper tools

And I’ll turn the valve and release some steam

Crawling through gutter just to come out clean

Throw the boss’s britches into a fuss

Seems he never knew just who to trust

I’ve been cutting out pages from the bible book

Looks like God’s gonna have to take a second look

I’ll be fixing up a boat in Mexico

Got a shiny pair of shoes so I think I’m gonna go

If you don’t see me, well don’t despair

I could use a man who could help getting things down there
